Many of us find it extremely hard to see God in the ugly, or what we perceive to be ugly in this world.  We justify our perception, which is another word for judgment in this case, based on our personal beliefs and experiences.  However what we choose to not recognize is that “God Is”.  God is the perceived Good, as well as the perceived Bad.  Everything that unfolds in the universe is under God’s umbrella.  Until we’re able to see the God in someone we dislike or despise, our vision for ourselves will continue to be hazy.

 On the flip-side, seeing God in what we find distasteful does not mean that we have to entertain that energy.  I appreciate the beauty of the dolphins however I do not plan on swimming with them.  We have the God-given rights to choose what works for us and what doesn’t.  When we’re able to choose without passing judgment, the closer we are to seeing the God in all of us.
