Speaking from the Heart

As we close-out 2012 there’s a few things I want to share:

  • Find time to Laugh and Play more
  • Shorten your “To Do List”
  • Remember your Cellphone is for your convenience don’t let it interrupt your Fun
  • When you’re unsure what to do, don’t do anything!  Don’t rush into something only to find out that it doesn’t feel right in the end.  Take time to get quiet and still, and just listen.  You will hear it, and better yet you will feel it.

Sending Peace and Blessings To All

Soul Mate versus “Love of Your Life”

The other day I received a text message asking if there is a difference between a Soul Mate and the “Love of Your Life”.  My answer is yes.

I believe that when you connect with a Soul Mate, your souls immediately know each other because of the energy vibration.    Also there’s this unspoken knowingness that all is good and that Love in all its forms and facets is the only thing that matters.

“Love of Your Life” limits you to this life on this earth.  We speak on falling in and out of Love with others, basing Love on how another person makes us feel (infatuation runs rampant) even though the other person has nothing to do with your loving.

To know Love is to understand God’s Love.  It’s all inclusive, no sorting out what you don’t like.  However please understand that you have the right to choose whether you want to Love close-up or from a distance.

How Are You Using Your Energy?

As I posted earlier, Energy is Real.  So what’s going on in your head?

Are you:

  • Constantly Worrying
  • Stuck on Complaining
  • Held Back by Fear

Whatever you constantly think about will eventually manifest into your Reality.  And if you couple those thoughts with deep, strong feelings, then the manifestation will come about sooner and more intense.

So I ask again, What’s going on in your Head?

Energy Is Real

As I sit and type these words tonight, there is an Energy that surrounds me.  I can feel it and I can hear it.  I tried to block it, quiet it and ignore it, but it’s still there.

When unfamiliar things enter our lives it’s often uncomfortable, but the sooner we stop trying to label it and categorize it the sooner we begin to understand it.

So here I sit allowing this energy to consume me.  I surrender.

Gratitude is Thanksgiving

To me Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday because it promotes Gratitude for the simplest of things.  When you exist in the space of “Gratitude and Thanksgiving” greater good  and abundance can easily flow your way.

I’m Grateful that I understand this “Truth”!

It takes Courage to “Walk by Faith and not by Sight”

This earth journey presents so many opportunities, however many of us see these opportunities as challenges and obstacles.  We tend to focus on what it will take to make things happen, instead of focusing on the “THING” itself.

The reason we focus on the steps and not the “THING” is due to conditional thinking.  We’ve been conditioned to think that anything worth having takes planning and sacrifice.  We get so caught up in planning and sacrificing that we lose sight of the prize.

For example, take someone who is working two jobs and eating bologna sandwiches just to buy or do something special.  Eventually they become exhausted and under-nourished which results in them either seeking something less desirable but within their reach, or giving-up altogether.

When you decide to walk by Faith, irregardless of what you see in front of you, courage becomes second nature.

Mind Over Matter

The mind is a powerful instrument.  Whatever thoughts you play in your head is the background music to your life.  Thoughts of lack unfolds into not having enough of whatever it is that you want.  Thoughts of hatred towards others unfolds into self-hatred and disgust.  What’s in your head will soon be your reality.  Thoughts do become Things!

You are Totally Responsible for How Others Treat You

I was having a conversation with my mom the other day about “we teach others how to treat us”.  Most people focus on things like a loan never being repaid or abusive words being tossed our way.  Using us financial or abusing us verbally without revocation on our part does constitute enforcing that behavior, however this lesson can be experienced in some unlikely ways as well.

One such way that comes to mine is continuing to provide support and services to someone who blatantly shows no appreciation.  I will admit that there’s a fine line between “giving, wanting nothing in return” versus “giving, getting negative vibes in return”.  When you give from the heart and is able to walk away feeling full and complete, that’s good.  However if you walk away feeling empty and depleted then it’s time to stop!

To continue to extend your heart knowing the outcome is not beneficial to you, and is a sure sign that you’re teaching the wrong lesson!

Are You Living From Paycheck to Paycheck, Constantly Trying to Make Ends Meet?

If you recognize yourself in the question above, then it’s time to try something new.

For instance:

  • When you shop for food, clothing, household items and other things, do you spend money?
  • Have you ever complained to your spouse, child, or loved-one about spending too much money?
  • When planning for a special trip or engagement, do you immediately account for money already spent?

If you like to spend, have been spending or just spent your money, then it’s definitely gone, never to return.  However, if you choose to Circulate your money then you will never be without.

I remember many years ago giving up the struggle on chasing the dollar.  I told myself that as long as I chased the dollar I would never catch it, so I decided to surrender and accept all the money that was meant for me.

Just recently I’ve adopted the concept of Circulating my money into the Universe.  Instead of spending my money on groceries I circulate it toward food that will nourish my body and mind.  Instead of spending money on bills, I circulate money towards providing shelter from the outside elements.  Instead of spending money on those “cute shoes”, I circulate money towards the salesperson’s income which helps sustain their household.

When I Circulate it always comes back to me therefore I’m never Without!

Life Lesson about the Mud Bug that became a Dragonfly

This past weekend I attended a home going service for a special lady in Houston, Texas.  While at the service one Pastor spoke on the Dragonfly and I want to share those words with you all.

For most of its life the Dragonfly lives as a nymph, or as the Pastor said a “Mud Bug”.  The mud bug lives underwater for about 4 years, eating and growing stronger.  Eventually the mud bug is able to climb the stem of the lily pad where it sheds its outer skin.  Once the outer skin is gone, the mud bug climbs onto the lily pad, spreads its wings and transforms into a Dragonfly.  As the dragonfly flies away it wants so much to tell the mud bugs in the pond how beautiful the transformation is, but it can’t.
