The other day I went to a restaurant that had two distinct sections. One section was quiet and overlooked the lake while the other section was a busy sports bar environment. I requested the quiet section so that I could reflect on things as well as enjoy the lake view. As I sat there enjoying my meal I couldn’t help but notice the somber expressions on most of the waitperson’s faces. All of a sudden thunderous laughter and cheering came from the other section of the restaurant, and it kept coming. I realized that Sunday football was on the TV. Then I noticed something amazing, the more people laughed and cheered in the other section, the more the wait people smiled as they did their jobs. Sometimes the laughter and cheering was so loud that the wait people stood still for a few seconds just to smile. I must admit that I was smiling too.
Laughter is Contagious, So Laugh More and Others Will Too
