A New Day Always Bring A New Perspective

The saying “sleep on it and things will be better in the morning”, well maybe not “better” but definitely different. It’s when you surrender your mind and body to the universal flow that things no longer seem impossible to understand and resolve. When sleeping you’re no longer struggling to figure out or control a situation. My suggestion is to “sleep on it” when you need a new perspective.

Clarity and Humility Rejuvenated

Going home to visit my parents always give me clarity and humility.  I’m very clear that what I have they also have, because as a child what they had I also had.  They provided and cared for me without expectations.  And so now I provide and care for them without expectations.  And as I do for them, their gratitude is abundant which makes we wonder how many times, as a child, was I grateful.  I’m humbled to be in their presence and honored that I can reciprocate just a fraction of what they did for me.

A Reminder Text To My Child

When God created U, he knew exactly what he was doing.  He gave U strength when U felt U were weak; he gave U beauty in the face of ugly situations; and he gave U wisdom in the midst of foolishness. Oh how special U are!

Gratitude to All Mothers

A few days before Mother’s Day I was speaking to a young lady who had nothing positive to say about her mother.  No communication; not feeling loved; and no good memories of her mom; she felt justified in her feelings.  After she finished speaking I simply suggested that Gratitude towards her mother for being the Vehicle through which she gained entrance into this world seem appropriate to me.  No fanfare or flowers needed, just Gratitude.

To Believe When Believing Seems Futile is Pure Faith

As we live we learn to not expect the unexpected and to be thankful for what we have.  However, little emphasis is placed on believing beyond a shadow of doubt that “All Things Are Possible”.  It’s easy to believe in something we can see or touch, but to walk by faith and not by sight takes Courage.  Courage is to trust that inner feeling and move forward even when everything outside ourselves say differently.

What Surrender Feels Like for Me

The past two days have deepened my understanding of what surrender feels like to me.  Having to fly home over the weekend to be with family, my plane arrived at my destination around 10:47pm only to find out that the person picking me up was waiting for me at an airport two hours away.  I calmly thanked him for being timely, in another city, and proceeded to reach out to other family members.  I was picked up within 30 minutes and had the best conversation that lasted until 5:30 am.  On my return home the next day we proceeded to the airport to catch my 6:45pm flight which was a two-hour drive on a good day, however it was raining heavily and traffic was moving extremely slow.  I told my family member to not rush and that “it is what it is”.  A quiet calmness came over me and I knew that everything was going to be alright.  Quietly the diesel trucks moved to the right lane and the rain softened.  We made it to the airport at
6:19pm.  I rushed through the airport only to realize that my flight was delayed for one hour.  I calmly sat down, took out my journal and began to write what surrender feels like to me.

Are You Ready for Love?

I was just listening to the song “I Am Ready For Love” by India Arie and the thought occurred to me, how many people are truly ready for love.  We may “say” that we’re ready but do our actions support our words?  In order to receive Love from outside of ourselves we must first show love to ourselves.  If you treat yourself unkindly such as: placing yourself last in most situations; beating yourself up for something you did or didn’t do; rejecting compliments by showcasing your inadequacies; or simply just not seeing the beauty in You.  All of these actions, fueled by your thinking, creates the environment that you’re not worthy of Love.  And so NO LOVE will appear, NONE.  You really have to show Love to yourself in order to receive Love from others.

How Many Marbles are in Your Jar

A co-worker shared a story with me and I’m sharing it with you.  He spoke of a person who spent their week days and weekends constantly working.  No time for relaxation and/or fun.  After doing this for a while the person experienced a “humbling moment” that caused them to reflect on their life.  After some deep conversations with themselves they decided to make some changes.  The person purchased some marbles and a jar, calculated how many Saturdays they had until their 90th birthday and proceeded to fill the jar with that number of marbles.  Each Saturday the person would remove a marble from the jar thus reminding themselves to make the most of that day.  Once the person reached 90 years old the jar was empty, so every Saturday after that they considered it a “Gift”.

Empty but Grateful

Feeling somewhat strange today (sort of numb and super sensitive at the same time).  I’ve been in deep thought about people in my life making that final transition from earthly body to heavenly body.  The sheer fact that their earthly body will no longer be visible leaves me  feeling empty.  I truly believe that we are spiritual beings having a human incarnation, but still picturing the world without them physically in it makes me feel empty.  So the only word that comes  to mind right now is “Gratitude”.  So grateful to have shared moments with them.

Thoughts Become Things Quicker Than You Think…

Haven’t you noticed, are maybe it’s just me, but things that we speak on or think about becomes reality very quickly.  Here are my thoughts:

More individuals are becoming aware that they are energy clothed in a physical body.  They realize that the body has limits but energy is forever.  The more people tapping into this higher level of energy increase the speed of simple ordinary requests manifesting almost immediately.  Remember the old saying “what goes around comes around”.  Well it’s coming pretty fast now, so be mindful of where you place your thoughts or should I say your energy
